It is so painful to see the resort that I once designed and built, abandoned and faded to dust. This used to be the 'gateway' to the resort where you find at the end of this bridge, an island on which is the reception, main office and the restaurant. All these were carefully inserted instead of imposed upon and the 'man-made' sat comfortably on the edge of nature in an almost seamless transition of space, neither one or the other.I don't know how anyone could abandon this beautiful resort and left it to become something like this to rot.

memang sedih... pernah melawat waktu buat bakti siswa 2001-2002 ukm di Pulau Kerengga... so sad to see now.
Ni resort my uncle. Bukan sebab masalah keluarga resort ni ditutup.
Berlaku ketika pertukaran kerajaan negeri suatu ketika dulu yang kononnya atas nama agama resort2 membawa maksiat & kedatangan pelancong asing tidak dibenarkan. Tahun-tahun yang dilalui mmg struggle sbb income xde. Most of tourist dari negara barat & eropah. Finally x dpt bertahan & terpaksa ditutup. Ada yang nak beli tp akibat dari kemasukan tourist disekat ramai yg x jd beli sbb kalau beli pun resort tetap x boleh dibuka. Sedih bila Ayah Ku terpaksa tutup resort ni & keadaan resort yg cantik berakhir dgn mcm ni.
Honest to say. Hope someone can revamp and bring the nicest features back to this resort. Which I believe this will be a good product in future.
