Sam..although its sad to see the house goes to ruin, most cases could be family issue..adik beradik tak bolih compromise on the hartapusaka..you see alot of this in Melaka Mazlan Ali
dear sir, we am reading your post here, , for the time being, we are now in a working paper stage to revive it back, but in a small scale for initial opening. doakan kami berjaya.
I may not no you guys.. Thank you for designed this wonderful place. FYI this is the place where my siblings and I grew up. It is sad to see the resort destroyed. Most of the childhood memories are here. My father is the one of those who together put the nails to built the place from beginning. When we came, I only knew Ayah Ku's family. We stayed at the staff quaters until it closed down. Even though I was younger, but I could see some issues here and there. I wish I could bring my hubby for honeymoon and show to him my 'home' :)
i am really happy actually that this resort i designed and built has touched so many lives, as it did mine. it had been a 'home' to so many people…a resort to come home to… before my children started schooling, we lived here for 3 months, my wife, my 2 children then (now 3), and our maid, while i was working on another boutique unit with a pool and dayroom above fronting the sea and a big room below with a deck facing the swamps. it was never completed…the structures are all still there. it would have easily been the first boutique villa in this country.
i am a very private person but i do have many friends and many are dear to me. and i am very lucky that broadband is here to help me work privately and virtually, and keep me in touch with my dear friends.
